Southern Marine Consult's main objective is to provide first class, competitive and professional surveys with particular emphasis on preventive actions and safety. This includes consultancy in relation to complete project operations from pre-planning, risk assessment, design of securing arrangements to loading and dishcarging. SMC staff consists of highly qualified and trained personnel with long-term experience in various fields of expertise.

SMC represents Lloyd's in the counties of Aust-Agder, Vest-Agder and Rogaland.
The Lloyd's Agency System is a worldwide network of over 400 companies whose principal function is to provide a range of surveying services to the maritime market.
