Training course for the Safety Officer
Training in accordance with the Regulation concerning Work Environment, Safety and Health. 
The training includes a theoretical introduction to the ISM Code, Responsibilities and duties, Risk Assessment, Safe Job Analysis and more. If convenient, the training course is carried out in the customer's office. 
Work book and Document of Evidence included.

Training course in gas measuring
Training in accordance with OCIMF (oil companies) requirements and the customer's individual ISM Code. 
The training includes a theoretical introduction and practical exercises in gas measuring. We recommend onboard training using the vessel's instruments, but the training course may also be carried out ashore. 
In co-operation with the Norwegian Maritime Foundation of the Philippines, this training course is included at the Norwegian Training Center in Manila. 
Work book and Document of Evidence included.

Training course in VOC abatement
Training in accordance with the 1999 Protocol to abate Acidification, Eutrophication and Ground-level Ozone (SO₂, NOx, NH₃ and VOC). 
This training course offers an introduction to VOC abatement, gas theory and technology including properties and characteristics of liquid gas and their vapours, basic thermodynamic theory and absorption technology etc. 
Course folder and Document of Evidence included. 
Duration: 3 days

Training course in Tankerman Highest Grade - Oil (incl. cow)
Training in accordance with IMO requirement (STCW-95). The course is approved by the Norwegian Maritime Directorate. 
The training includes composition of oil compounds, pollution, discharge systems, cargo handling and - calculations, gas measuring, etc. 
3 hours exam at the end of course. Course folder with licence included. 
Southern Marine may assist in the organization of transport and accommodation, etc.
